DKMS is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer
and blood disorders. The Blood Ball raises funds to match donor registration costs, support 
the improvement of therapies through research, and support patients from day one of their
diagnoses. The 2018 event's theme was inspired by the disco era and the Studio 54 scene.
